In 2007, Berjaya Corporation Berhad and Shenyang Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co. Ltd signed a Memorandum Of Agreement and Technical License Agreement that gave them the exclusive rights to distribute and assemble various commercial and passenger vehicle from China under the brand name of Era Jinbei.

Not only the exclusive rights to assemble and distribute Era Jinbei in Malaysia but also export to South East Asia. Therefore through this alliance Berjaya Brilliance Auto Sdn Bhd has been formed.
